The Legislative Affairs Bureau of Dongguan issued a notice on 30 October 2018 to seek comments from the public on "Dongguan Municipality's Measures on Electronic Industrial and Commercial Registration (Consultation Draft)". The Measures allows applicants to apply for commercial registration via the Dongguan Administration of Industry and Commerce website, and the approval process will also be completed online. The Measures are effective from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2023.
