Notice Regarding Preferential Individual Income Tax Treatment for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (“the GBA”) (Cai Shui [2019] No.31)

In order to support the talents' development in the GBA, the Ministry of Finance and State Administration of Taxation jointly issued a Notice on 14 March 2019, granting Individual Income Tax (“IIT”) exemption treatment for the subsidies of overseas (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) high-level and urgently-needed talents working in the GBA. The Notice is valid from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2023.
