The Zhaoqing Municipal People's Government issued the "Measures for Basic Medical Insurance for Urban and Rural Residents in Zhaoqing" (“the Measures”) on 11 April 2019. Insured persons may enjoy various medical benefits as set out in the Measures. The payment standard for hospital treatment under the medical insurance fund is as follows: RMB 200 per visit to a primary medical institution, RMB 600 per visit to a secondary medical institution, and RMB 1,000 per visit to a tertiary medical institution. The Measures were effective from 01 June 2019.
