The People's Government of Guangdong Province issued a reply regarding “Proposal for promoting the mutual recognition of job qualifications in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area” on 3 July 2019. According to the reply, the Guangdong authorities have introduced measures such as permitting professional financial talents from Hong Kong and Macao to provide professional services in Nansha, Qianhai and Hengqin Free Trade Pilot Zones since 2017, as well as encouraging talents in the construction and engineering industry to start their personal practice.
