The Guangzhou Municipal People's Government published a notice to provide policies and measures to further accelerate the promotion of scientific and technological innovation on 24 July 2019. The notice contains policies and measures from 12 different categories, which includes building a high-level scientific and technological innovation carrier, supporting the construction of a world-class innovation platform, supporting the Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao (International) Youth Entrepreneur Hub, opening up the city's research funds to Hong Kong and Macao, promoting the cross-border application of the city's research funds, and improving the security of the talents from Hong Kong and Macao etc. The "Science and Technology Innovation Policy Measures" will be implemented from the release date of the notice and will be valid for 5 years.
