Dongguan Housing and Urban-rural Development Bureau and Dongguan Property Registration Center issued a notice on simplifying the requirements for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents to buy properties in Dongguan on 31 July 2019. Starting from 1 August 2019, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents over 18 years old who are holders of residence permit and have no properties in Dongguan are qualified to buy a newly built private property unit.
