Guangzhou Huangpu District, Guangzhou Development District and Guangzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone announced the measures concerning attracting overseas top talents on 22 August 2019. These include providing supporting funds not exceeding RMB 1.5 billion and RMB 1 billion to qualified strategic scientist teams and industrial top talent teams respectively in the form of grant, loan interest subsidy, R&D subsidy, management award or equity investment.
