The Hengqin New District Management Committee Office issued the “Administrative Measures on Postdoctorate Researchers in the Hengqin New District” on 6 November 2019. In order to encourage talents from Hong Kong and Macao to take part in postdoctorate research work in the Hengqin New District, the Management Committee Office will offer individual rental and living subsidies of RMB 300,000 per year to Hong Kong and Macao postdoctorate researchers for two years. The Administrative Measures are effective from 6 November 2019.
Note: “Postdoctorate researchers” refers to persons undertaking research or further studies at university or science research institutions after obtaining their doctorate degree.
