Shenzhen Qianhai District issued the Action Plan of “Policies and Measures to Benefit Hong Kong and Macao Residents Suggested in the Meeting held by the Leading Group for Development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area” on 7 December 2019. The 12 measures announced in the plan include measures to grant Hong Kong and Macao residents same treatments as the Shenzhen residents in the areas of house purchase, children's enrolment in school and also measures to encourage eligible mobile electronic payment companies to set up subsidiaries in Qianhai District.
