The Huizhou Bureau of Finance and Huizhou Municipal Tax Service, State Taxation Administration jointly issued the “Notice on Issuance of Application Guideline of 2019 Huizhou Non-resident High-end Talents Individual Income Tax (“IIT”) Financial Subsidies” on 29 June 2020. The Bureaus announced that non-resident high-end talents and talents in short supply (including those eligible Hong Kong and Macao permanent residents) who work and pay taxes in Huizhou can apply for IIT financial subsidies during the period from 1 July 2020 to 15 August 2020.
