The Jiangmen Bureau of Finance and Jiangmen Municipal Tax Service, State Taxation Administration jointly issued the “Notice on Launching 2019 Jiangmen Application for Financial Subsidies related to Individual Income Tax (“IIT”) Preferential Policies in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area” on 30 June 2020. The authorities announced that non-resident high-end talents and talents in short supply (including those eligible Hong Kong and Macao residents) who work and pay taxes in Jiangmen can apply for 2019 financial subsidies related to IIT preferential policies via online system during the period 1 July 2020 to 15 August 2020.
