The Zhuhai Bureau of Finance and Zhuhai Municipal Tax Service, State Taxation Administration jointly issued the “Notice on Launching 2019 Zhuhai Talent Identification and Application Procedures for Financial Subsidies related to Individual Income Tax (“IIT”) Preferential Policies in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area” on 30 June 2020. The authorities announced that non-resident high-end talents and talents in short supply (including those eligible Hong Kong and Macao permanent residents) who work and pay taxes in Zhuhai can apply for talent identification and financial subsidies related to IIT preferential policies via E-Tax Bureau during the period 1 July 2020 to 15 August 2020.
