The Zhongshan Bureau of Finance and Zhongshan Municipal Tax Service, State Taxation Administration jointly issued the “Notice on Launching 2019 Zhongshan Application for Financial Subsidies related to Individual Income Tax (“IIT”) Preferential Policies in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area” on 10 July 2020. The authorities announced that non-resident high-end talents and talents in short supply (including those eligible Hong Kong and Macao permanent residents) who work and pay taxes in Zhongshan can apply for 2019 financial subsidies related to IIT preferential policies via E-Tax Bureau during the period 20 July 2020 to 10 August 2020.
