The Guangdong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security ("the authorities") issued the "Brochure in relation to Policies of Supporting Hong Kong and Macao Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship" ("the Brochure") on 20 January 2023. The Brochure includes details of 15 policies to support Hong Kong and Macao youth employment and 13 entrepreneurship policies. Employment policies include employment internship subsidies, individual income tax financial subsidies, policies that facilitate renewal and reissuance of Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, etc. Entrepreneurship policies include social security subsidies for small and micro enterprises, start-up rental subsidies, training subsidies and other policies.
