On 19 May 2023, the Dongguan Binhai Bay New Area Management Committee issued the "Implementation Measures for Promoting Market-oriented Investment Promotion in Dongguan Binhai Bay New Area (Revised in 2023)" (“the Measures”). The Measures specify that investment promotion partners are domestic and foreign organizations that provide investment promotion services to the Binhai Bay New Area, including well-known international accounting firms, law firms, financial institutions, and other professional organizations. The eligibility criteria for investment promotion partners include having a working institution or branch in the Binhai Bay New Area or other key cities at local or abroad. The service term for investment promotion partners is three years, and their work performance will be evaluated annually. If they fail to pass the evaluation, the Management Committee of Binhai Bay New Area may terminate the cooperation relationship in advance. The Measures are effective from 9 May 2023 and will be valid until 9 May 2026.
