The Shenzhen Housing and Construction Bureau of the Shenzhen Municipal Emergency Management Bureau and the Shenzhen Qianhai Shekou Area Management Committee of the China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone (“the authorities”) issued the “Interim Measures for the Administration of Practice Filing of Hong Kong Registered Safety Officer in Shenzhen Qianhai Shekou Area of the China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone” (“the Interim Measures”) on 29 May 2023. Hong Kong permanent residents who have been registered as Hong Kong Registered Safety Officer at the Hong Kong Labour Department can apply for practice filing as safety officers in Shenzhen Qianhai Shekou Area of the China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone (“the Area”) and have practising in the Area. The Interim Measures shall come into effect on 15 June 2023 and valid for 3 years.
