On 31 May 2023, the Dongguan Municipal Science and Technology Bureau and the Dongguan Binhai Bay New Area Management Committee issued the “Administrative Support Measures for Project Entry in the International Open Innovative and Entrepreneurial Community” (“the Measures”). The Measures proposed to introduce technology-based enterprise projects in the fields of digital economy, life and health and new energy. In particular, the Measures focus on introducing modern service projects such as technology transfer service institutions, intellectual property service institutions and comprehensive technology service institutions (including law, accounting and auditing). Each enterprise with projects newly settled in the community will enjoy a research and development investment subsidy of up to RMB2 million annually. The Measures will be implemented from 1 June 2023 and will be valid until 31 December 2025.
