The General Office of the Shenzhen Municipal Government issued “Several Measures to Support the High-Quality Development of Individual Industrial and Commercial Households in Shenzhen” (“the Measures”) on 1 June 2023. The authorities announced to further expand the industry fields of individual industrial and commercial households for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents, and explore chance for expansion of the industry fields for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents to apply for individual industrial and commercial households in the Qianhai Shekou Free Trade Zone and the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone. The document shall be effective on 15 June 2023 and the Measures will be valid for 3 years unless there is a clearly specified time limit or otherwise stipulated by the State.
