The Ministry of Education in Shenzhen Municipal Bao'an District (“the authorities”) issued “The New Students Enrolment Guidelines of 2023 Fall Compulsory Education in Bao'an District” (“the Enrolment Guidelines”) on 5 June 2023. The authorities announced the enrolment guideline in order to guarantee the right of eligible school-aged children and youth to receive compulsory education and facilitate parents' familiarity with enrolment policies and successfully apply for school placement.
