The Office of Zhaoqing Municipal People’s Government (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in Relation to the Implementation Measures of “Several Measures for Cultivating and Supporting Individual and Commercial Households in the Guangdong Province” in Zhaoqing Municipality” (“the Notice”) on 14 June 2023. The authorities announced to promote the continuing healthy development of individual and commercial households in Zhaoqing Municipality, implementing tax fee policies, optimizing the business environment of individual and commercial households, supporting innovation and entrepreneurship of individual and commercial households. Meanwhile, simplifying the individual and commercial households application process for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents. The authority actively encourages Taiwan residents to establish individual and commercial households in Mainland. This implementation plan shall be effective from 14 June 2023 and valid until 11 January 2026.
