The State Taxation Administration (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in Relation to Further Promote Regulated Development of Tax Related Professional Services Industry” (“the Notice”) on 20 June 2023. The authorities announced to further strengthen the supervision and management of tax-related professional service institutions and continuously promote the standardized development of the tax-related professional service industry. Important measures include strengthening daily supervision of tax-related professional services, optimize support services for tax-related professional service industry, and take legal actions to punish illegal activities or non-compliant behaviours in tax-related professional service sector and etc.
