The Qianhai Administration Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Administrative Measures for the Record Filing Management of Hong Kong Professionals in the Field of Engineering Construction in Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone” (“the Measures”) on 25 June 2023. The authorities announced that professionals who have already practiced in the field of engineering construction in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region can register for record filing, practice and perform relevant management activities in the Qianhai Cooperation Zone. Application documents include Hong Kong resident identity documents, legal practice certification documents (cards) obtained from the relevant Hong Kong Registration Authority, Buildings Department, and Labour Department, and labour contracts or employment certification documents, etc. The Measures will come into effect on 25 June 2023 and will be valid for 5 years.
