On 25 June 2023, the Authority of Qianhai of the Shenzhen Municipality issued the "Management Measures for the Filing and Practice of Professional Institutions in the Construction Field of Hong Kong Engineering in the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone (Revised)" (“the Measures”). The Measures apply to professional institutions that have obtained relevant qualifications in the construction field in Hong Kong, and their filing, practice, and related management activities in the Qianhai Cooperation Zone. The Measures also specify that professional institutions that provide architectural survey, design, construction, supervision, cost and other related professional services directly in the Qianhai Cooperation Zone should apply for filing with the Qianhai Administration Bureau in accordance with the law. The Measures are effective from 25 June 2023 and will be valid for five years.
