The Foshan Municipal Housing and Urban-rural Development Bureau (“the authorities”) issued the “Operational Guideline for Optimizing House Purchase Eligibility Application Process for Hong Kong and Macao Residents” (“the Operational Guideline”) on 22 July 2023. The authorities announced Hong Kong and Macao residents purchasing newly built commercial housing in the Foshan Municipality can confirm house purchase eligibility by submitting a letter of commitment for purchasing through the real estate developer using the online system during the subscription process.
