On 26 July 2023, the Development and Reform Bureau of Guangzhou Nansha Economic and Technological Zone issued the “Detailed Implementation Rules for Supporting and Promoting the Development of Headquarters Economy in the Guangzhou Nansha New Zone (Free Trade Zone)” (“the Rules”). The Rules proposed to facilitate the transportation efficiency for employees of qualified headquarters enterprises, coordinate with the related provincial and municipal authorities to apply for vehicle license plate of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao for senior managers of headquarters enterprises and provide facilitation services in applying passports, Hong Kong and Macao travel permits, visas and other matters. The Rules is effective from 26 July 2023 and will be valid until 17 July 2028.
