The Office of National Health Commission (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in Relation to the Facilitation Measures of Basic Healthcare Services” (“the Measures”) on 4 August 2023. The authorities announced that based on public demand and currently provided services, facilitation measures of basic healthcare institution services for the years 2023-2025 are formulated, including providing specialized outpatient appointment services at higher-level hospitals for permanent residents living in the districts, providing one-stop services for residents’ medical procedure, and setting up senior-friendly service counters, etc.
