The Guangzhou Municipal Tianhe District Bureau of Science, Technology, Industry and Information Technology, the Guangzhou Municipal Tianhe District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and the United Front Work Department of Guangzhou Municipal Tianhe District Committee of CPC (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to the Implementation Measures for Supporting High Quality Development of Hong Kong and Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Guangzhou Municipal Tianhe District” (“the Measures”) on 9 August 2023. The authorities announced to arrange a maximum of RMB1 million per year to build a service platform to provide docking services such as business settlement, entrepreneurial guidance, talent recruitment, talent apartments, children’s schooling and other services for Hong Kong and Macao youth conducting innovation and entrepreneurship in Tianhe District. Meanwhile, to arrange a maximum of RMB800,000 per year to support the establishment of Hong Kong and Macao community. For details on rewards and subsidies, please refer to the Measures. These measures shall be effective from 8 September 2023 and will be valid for 3 years.
