The Zhaoqing Municipal Leading Group Office for Promoting the Construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area issued the “Zhaoqing Municipal Measures to Promote Facilitation for Hong Kong and Macao Residents (First Batch) (Consultation Paper)” on 11 September 2023. The authorities announced a series of measures to facilitate Hong Kong and Macao residents and solicited opinions from the society. The feedback period is from 11 September 2023 to 11 October 2023. Specific measures include facilitating Hong Kong and Macao residents to apply for residence permits, encouraging various forms of home purchase, obtaining loan home purchase information, promoting equal treatment for leisure and elderly care, and establishing a green channel for technical qualification examinations and professional title evaluations for Hong Kong and Macao professionals, etc.
