On 19 September 2023, the Authority of Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone of Shenzhen Municipality issued the “Application Guidelines for Supporting High-end Legal Services Clusters in the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong International Legal Services Zone (Second Batch in 2023)” (“the Guidelines”). The Guidelines specified that a one-off subsidy of RMB2 million will be granted to joint venture law firms established by famous foreign and domestic law firms. In addition, the rent for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau joint venture law firm residing in the Qianhai International Arbitration Tower shall be calculated at 30% of the market rent in the prior year. The Guidelines also specified the list of application materials required for submission. The application period is from 20 September 2023 to 20 October 2023.
