On 24 October 2023, the Zhuhai Municipal Bureau of Commerce issued the “Detailed Implementation Rules for the Special Fund of the Development of Domestic and Foreign Trade (Exhibition) in Zhuhai Municipality” (“the Measures”). The Measures proposed to grant rewards to exhibition business with cooperation between Hong Kong and Zhuhai and Macao, encourage to leverage the advantages of Hong Kong and Macao in terms of internationalization and specialization, attract the domestic and foreign professional exhibitions and high-end conferences to be jointly held in Zhuhai and Hong Kong and Macao, and assist in constructing economic and trade channel of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. The Measures proposed that the total amount of awards for economic and trade exhibitions shall not exceed RMB 1.8 million (inclusive), and the total amount of awards for economic and trade conferences shall not exceed RMB 1 million (inclusive). The Measures will be implemented from 24 October 2023 and be valid until 31 December 2025.
