On 10 November 2023, the Economic Development Bureau of the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Intensive Cooperation Zone issued the “Application for Supporting Macao-invested Enterprises in the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Intensive Cooperation Zone in 2023” (“the Notice”). The eligible enterprises are Macao-invested enterprises that meet the relevant requirements under “the Measures for Supporting the Development of Macao-invested Enterprises in the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Intensive Cooperation Zone” and have substantive business operation in the Cooperation Zone. The application period will be from 10 November 2023 to 31 December 2023. The Notice specified that the Executive Committee of the Cooperation Zone will provide rental subsidy to the Macao-invested enterprises that lease office premises in the Cooperation Zone and sign a lease contract with a term of not less than 3 years with reference to the evaluation price of a third-party professional institution. The Notice will be effective on 1 January 2023 and be valid until 31 December 2025.
