The Shenzhen Municipal Transport Bureau (“the authorities”) issued the “The Phase 2 of Metro Line 8 is Fully Connected” (“the Notice”) on 23 November 2023. The authorities announced that the left shield tunnel section between Dameisha Station and Xiaomeisha Station of the Phase 2 Shenzhen Municipal metro line 8 has been recently connected. With this, the Phase 2 Shenzhen Municipal metro line 8 is fully connected. Subsequent work shall focus on station-related construction, laying a solid foundation for the operation and opening of the entire line.
