On 14 December 2023, the People's Government of Yantian District of Shenzhen Municipality issued the “Support Measures for Establishing a Modern Industrial System and Promoting High-quality Economic Development in Yantian District (2023 Revised)” (“the Measures”). The Measures proposed to support high-end consumption and commercial development in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, specifically including supporting China traditional brands, Hong Kong's domestic brands, Michelin, the Black Pearl, and other renowned domestic and foreign retail brands to establish their presence in the Yantian District and offering subsidies of up to RMB 10 million. The Measures shall come into effect on 26 December 2023 and will be valid until 31 December 2027.
