On 5 January 2024, the Dongguan Industrial and Information Technology Bureau issued the “Various Measures on Supporting the Development of Intelligent Robot Industry in Dongguan Municipality” (“the Measures”). The Measures support the investment and settlement of key projects in Dongguan Municipality. For major intelligent robot projects with fixed assets over RMB3 billion (or a humanoid robot project with an investment of fixed assets over RMB1.5 billion), the Measures proposed to offer the “One Policy for One Enterprise” support in terms of land and energy use, environmental protection, and finance etc. The Measures shall be effective from 5 January 2025 and will be valid till 31 December 2025.
