The Guangzhou Municipal Baiyun District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to Implementation Measures of the “Measures of Talent Green Card Regulation in Guangzhou Municipality” in Guangzhou Municipal Baiyun District” (“the Implementation Measures”) on 8 January 2024. The authorities announced that outstanding domestic and foreign talents and entrepreneurs, who are non-residents of Guangzhou Municipality, working in regions of Guangzhou Municipality and Guangzhou-Foshan High quality development Integration Pilot Zone, Guangzhou-Qingyuan Economic Special Cooperation Zone, and other regions, can apply for the Guangzhou Talent Green Card based on the Measures. The Talent Green Card is divided into Card A and B. The Measures specified the application conditions and application procedures. These Measures shall be effective from 7 February 2024 and valid for 5 years.
