The Guangzhou Municipality and Guangzhou Municipal Tax Service, State Taxation Administration (“the authorities”) issued the “Supplementary Guidelines for the 2023 Application of Individual Income Tax Preferential Policies Subsidies in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in Guangzhou Municipality” (“the Notice”) on 24 January 2024. The authorities announced that applicants who have questions regarding the individual income tax payment data obtained through “Tax E-check for Talents in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area” of natural-person e-tax bureau may refer to this guideline.
