The State Taxation Administration (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to 2023 Settlement and Payment of Comprehensive Annual Individual Income Tax” (“the Notice”) on 31 January 2024. The authorities announced the commencement of the 2023 settlement and payment of comprehensive annual individual income tax. Taxpayers may choose from the following processing methods:
1. Self-processing
2. Through employer
3. Appoint an agent
The processing period for the settlement for the year 2023 is from 1 March 2024 to 30 June 2024.
