On 6 March 2024, the Authority of Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone of Shenzhen Municipality issued the “Application Guidelines for Supporting the High-end Legal Services Industries Clusters in the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong International Legal Service Zone in 2024” (“the Guidelines”). The Guidelines specified that eligible applicants shall be legal service agencies and management teams in Qianhai Cooperation Zone that participate in the construction of Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong International Legal Service Zone and legal professionals from Hong Kong and Macao. The Guidelines proposed to provide one-off settlement support of RMB2 million to joint venture law firms established by well-known foreign law firms and domestic law firms. The application period will be from 6 March 2024 to 15 May 2024.
