The Zhongshan Municipal Education and Sports Bureau, the Zhongshan Municipal Development and Reform Bureau, the Civil Affairs Bureau of Zhongshan Municipality, the Zhongshan Municipal Finance Bureau, the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Zhongshan Municipality, and the Zhongshan Market Supervision and Administration Bureau (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to the “Identification, Support and Administrative Measures of Inclusive Public Kindergartens in Zhongshan Municipality”” (“the Notice”) on 18 March 2024. The authorities announced that the highest standard of tuition fees for inclusive public kindergarten shall be categorized into three levels: Level 1 shall be Provincial standardized kindergartens at RMB1,050 per month; Level 2 shall be Municipality-level first tier kindergartens at RMB1,250 per month; and Level 3 shall be Provincial-level first tier kindergartens at RMB1,500 per month. These Measures shall be effective from 18 March 2024 and valid for 5 years.
