On 25 March 2024, the Jiangmen Justice Bureau issued the “Various Measures for Optimizing the Rule of Law and Business Environment in Jiangmen Municipality” (“the Measures”). The Measures proposed to attract and cultivate more high-end law firms, facilitate the cultivation of civil and commercial mediation organizations in Jiangmen Municipality, and promote the implementation of working opinions related to the protection of the rights and interests of overseas Chinese and efficient and harmonious resolution of commercial disputes. In addition, the Measures aimed to facilitate the coordination and cooperation among various mediation mechanisms and enhance the level of legal resolution and prevention of corporate disputes.
