The Jiangmen Municipal Medical Security Bureau (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to the Medical Administrative Regulations for Basic Medical Insurance in Jiangmen Municipality” (“the Notice”) on 25 March 2024. The authorities announced that insured persons seeking outpatient medical treatment at designated medical institutions shall first register for general outpatient clinic selection. During registration, individuals may present their ID card, electronic medical insurance certificate, or social security card, and complete the general outpatient clinic selection process through self-service terminals, websites, relevant service applications, or by visiting designated medical institutions or medical insurance agencies of various levels in Jiangmen Municipality. These Measures shall be effective from 1 April 2024 and valid until 31 December 2028.
