The Zhaoqing Municipal People’s Government (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to “Promoting Facilitation Measures for Hong Kong and Macao Residents in Zhaoqing Municipality”” (“the Notice”) on 28 March 2024. The authorities announced to support professional talents in the fields of legal services, accountancy, and others to work in Zhaoqing Municipality. Meanwhile, the authorities also implemented the Individual Income Tax Preferential Policies Subsidies in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Hong Kong and Macao residents may declare their individual income tax affairs through the online tax service hall or onsite Municipal tax service offices. These Measures shall be effective from 1 May 2024 and valid for 2 years.
