The Personnel Examinations Bureau of Guangdong Province (“the authorities”) issued the “Instructions for the 2024 Application of Social Worker Professional Qualification Examination” (“the Notice”) on 1 April 2024. The authorities announced that the examination application is divided into three categories: assistant social worker, social worker, and senior social worker. Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents, who meet the application requirements, are eligible to apply for the social worker professional qualification examination. The information registration period is from 7 April 2024 to 17 April 2024.
