The Guangzhou Municipal Huangpu District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the Ministry of Finance of Huangpu District of the Guangzhou Municipality, the Ministry of Finance of Development Zone of the Guangzhou Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to the Administrative Measures for the Use of Employment Subsidy Fund in the Development Zone (Huangpu District) of the Guangzhou Municipality” (“the Notice”) on 9 April 2024. The authorities announced a series of measures to support the expansion and promotion of employment, encouragement of entrepreneurship, enhancement of public employment services, improvement of employment and entrepreneurship environment, and other aspects of the administrative measures for the use of employment subsidy funds. Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents who is applicable under the regulations shall be subject to these Measures. These Measures shall be effective from 9 April 2024 and valid for 3 years.
