On 28 November 2024, the Office of the People’s Government of Guangzhou Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice of Issuing Various Measures for Accelerating the High-quality Development of the Hydrogen Energy Industry” (“the Measures”). The Measures announced that for manufacturing projects with a total investment of RMB 1 billion or more in the hydrogen energy industry, the municipal government shall provide support, on a 1 to 1 basis, in addition to the provincial-level rewards. The Measures shall be valid for 3 years.
