Notice in relation to Application Guidelines for Financial Subsidies for Individual Income Tax Preferential Policies in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area for the Tax Year 2023 in Huizhou Municipality

The Finance Bureau of Huizhou Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to Application Guidelines for Financial Subsidies for Individual Income Tax Preferential Policies in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area for the Tax Year 2023 in Huizhou Municipality” (“the Notice”) on 12 March 2025. The authorities proposed that permanent residents of Hong Kong and Macao that have worked for more than 90 days in enterprises registered in Huizhou Municipality and classified as overseas high-end talent and talents in urgent shortage in the fields of technological innovation, key industries, and philosophy and social sciences, are eligible for financial subsidies. The maximum subsidy amount for each tax year is RMB5 million.
