Opinions in relation to Enhancing the Quality of Chinese Medicines and Promoting High-quality Development of the Chinese Medicine Industry (Guo Ban Fa [2025] No. 11)

On 15 March 2025, the General Office of the State Council (“the authorities”) issued the “Opinions in relation to Enhancing the Quality of Chinese Medicines and Promoting High-quality Development of the Chinese Medicine Industry” (“the Measures”). The authorities announced to strengthen the construction of industrial platforms for research and development, testing and trading of Chinese medicine in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and increase the technical support for Chinese Medicine Testing Centre of the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
