Notice in relation to Administrative Measures for Allocated Affordable Housing in Huizhou Municipality

The Office of the People’s Government of Huizhou Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to Administrative Measures for Allocated Affordable Housing in Huizhou Municipality” (“the Notice”) on 26 March 2025. The authorities proposed that applicants that have household registration in the municipality, contributed social insurance for more than 12 months in the municipality and are in insurance contribution and payment status, are eligible to apply for purchasing allocated affordable housing. The purchase of allocated affordable housing should be based on family units, with each family permitted to acquire one unit of allocated affordable housing. The Notice is effective from 1 May 2025 and remains valid for 5 years.
