Notice of Issuing “Several Measures for Supporting High-quality Development of Mergers, Acquisitions and Restructuring of Listed Companies in Guangzhou Municipality (2025-2027)”

On 8 April 2025, the Office of Financial Commission of the CPC Committee of Guangzhou Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice of Issuing “Several Measures for Supporting High-quality Development of Mergers, Acquisitions and Restructuring of Listed Companies in Guangzhou Municipality (2025-2027)”” (“the Measures”). The authorities announced that leveraging the geographical advantages of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, establishing a mechanism for exchanging cr0ss-border mergers and acquisitions resources with the international market, and introducing high-quality overseas projects and advanced international technologies, to better serve the needs of the major strategic development in the region and to promote the high-quality development of listed companies in Guangzhou Municipality.
