On 28 April 2025, the Office of the People's Government of Foshan Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice of Issuing Action Plan for Accelerating the Development of the Intelligent Robotics Industry in Foshan Municipality (2025-2030)” (“the Measures”). The authorities announced to support enterprises to establish technological research and development institutions such as manufacturing innovation centres and technology innovation centres in the fields of artificial intelligence and robotics.
